Well I am putting the 60 lb. injectors on my fuel rail and I cant get the retaining clips to go on right. I get them on and one side or the other comes off the rail. I dont want to get to crazy with them, they arent cheap. Any body else run into this? whats the fix? Thanks tim

Rotate the injector a little. make sure injector is
seated in fuel rail hat .

Drink 12oz of wine or beer. And try again.

Yeah tim, I had trouble getting them in on my 90 when I did the head gaskets. Anytime I had a problem it was because the injector didn't seat all the way into the rail. Just be careful of the force you use.

And always lube the injector o-rings before assembly so that they do not get cut and they slide in easier as well.

I can tell you I had mad issues with mine getting the clips in the rail. The best solution was to put the injector in the rail and the clip before mounting them. It takes patience to line up the injectors before pushing them into the intake, but it worked better this way as long as you do one side at a time. Rub a small amount of oil on the O-ring before you push them in. You can even use vaseline, but dont use as much as you do when the new Hustler comes in the mail.

You aren't still running a stock intercooler are you?

I figure with the injectors, intercooler, gears, and nitrous, you'll drop a second.

Going with a custom intercooler built by Dan Sly. Also going from a 75mm. throttle body to a 85 and from a 76mm. mass air to an 80. Retune by Sparky. My goal is 11:50. I plan on taking more weight out of the car too. I dont really want to run faster than 11:50 or I will have to put a bar in.:D

Before I reinstall the blower ,I turn the ignition key on,
and check to make sure injectors are fully seated and not leaking.

Me too...saved a lot of headaches doing it that way. If you want the fuel pump to stay running more than a few seconds...ground the terminal shown on this diagram of the EEC test port. Pump will stay running as long as ignition is on.
