Anyone need a daily driver? cheaper on insurance and fuel lol.

1991 Thunderbird
-191,xxx KM
-Just passed safety and etest ~5 months ago.
-breaks good, fairly new and work excellent.
-ball joints all new. serviceable lifetime warranty ones. both lower ones JUST replaced!
-Power windows, seat, locks and cruse all work.
-AC doesn't work, compressor will come on. unplugged compressor when I got it so its unhooked right now but should work if recharged.
-black interior, good dash, nothing cracked or stained or ripped.
-solid rockers and floors. oil sprayed yearly. little rust for age. overall better shape then average Thunderbird daily driver of same age.
-Runs tip top. no CEI, just replaced EGR sensor. got in and drove all winter without a hiccup!
-AOD runs good. Fluid looks clean. fairly new I assume.
-New 02 sensors and EGR pressure sensor (CEI was on, not anymore!)
-Alpine MP3 deck bought for car apx 4 months ago. put in by me. harness bought nothing cut for radio.
-Infinity 6x8 speakers bought for car apx 3 months ago. put in front by me. harness made from factory speakers, nothing cut in door. sounds NICE for moderate levels (no sub!) but I like it it does sound good.

I am basically the second owner of this car. the previous owner was a mid 40 YO Asian man who took REALLY good care of this car. I believe he bought it off a dealer or private when the car was only 6 months old. when I bought it ~5 months ago it was a solid car. he has most records for car. he oiled it every winter. I could tell he took good care of it for the most part. I still have some of his records. he tuned it up before he sold it to me. new plugs, wires and cap/rotor. oil, trans fluid and coolant was all clean when I bought it off him. I had to put new e-break cables (seized) and a tie rod end for safety other then that it was good. tires good and breaks good. Recently I put new lower ball joints on it as they started to squeal. uppers were done by him at one time. Starts up and runs great, drives fairly good its almost hard to believe its a 15 year old car sometimes! I also had a CEI on and bought new 02 sensors assuming this was the problem. didn't fix anything so I got it scanned only to find out it was the EGR pressure sensor. changed that with new one and CEI is gone. so it had new 02s on it even tho it didn't really need it!

The ONLY problems WHATSOEVER with this car are the AC does not work, the passenger side window switch does not work, pass window works from driver switch only and the car runs a little cold. I have always wondered about this it can be the T-stat is either the wrong one, its backwards or the gauge is off. It warms up fast enough but the needle only gets JUST into the NORM section. it doesn't get up to 1/3rd were I think it should be. it gets just above the blue area and just into the NORM. I think it might be the wrong Tstat for the stock tune or it is in backwards. The driver door sags a little and you have to pull fairly hard to close the door. typical Thunderbird door I know. it doesn't hit the frame in anyway and the part were it latches to still has the plastic tube on it so its fine otherwise. new pins/bushings would be nice tho. lastly a few spots have been touched up by me and a spray can and they are kinda crap. I just wanted to cover for winter and fix up later. these are the only few minor problems I can even think of. It just runs and drives so good! All gauges work, fuel etc, no leaks in tank. under body fairly good for age some break lines look new.

These pics are from November of 2006.

The last picture shows my attempt at painting. if you look close at the rear quarter you can see were I hit it up with a spray can to cover a small (about 4mm surface rust spot) there are only a few SMALL surface rust spots on the car and they are LIGHT surface areas only.

$1200 FIRM FIRM FIRM!!!!! Guy was asking 1600 AS IS I bought it in apx October of 2006 and started driving it in November. (didn't need a car right away it sat for a month) I paid $1300 for it and since then had not one problem with it getting me to work! I have changed the 02s, EGR pressure sensor, lower ball joints and put a stereo in it. had factory tape deck in it when I bought it!!

Reason for selling. Want a smaller 5 speed car. will trade for an Escort GT or simular sporty tosser car. need better city millage and something I can have more fun in. I have owned like 4 Thunderbird's. getting old. want a manual again for awhile!

London BTW ;)

Bump TTT! no more CEI (new EGR sensor) runs good. Temp gets up a little higher now (I think it was running rich due to CEI/EGR not working properly) 650 KM off last highway tank! door hinge pins/bushings just done so driver door like new now no need to slam it. Alpine Mp3 deck and Infinity speakers! Seriously the AC is the only thing thats broken on this car now!

1200 is so fair for this car!

That's about the time 240k or 250k that I had to get my done, also on a non supercharged T bird. If you were not so far, I'd come and take a look. But as it is I am so behind on my chores, aquarium, dog, garage, yard, new window blinds to be installed etc. that I don't have the time.

BUMP TTT! Buying a 98 5 speed ZX2! Bye Bye T-Bird :( its a shame after how good its been to me and the things I just put into it to make it all good. But $70 tanks to drive a V6 Auto was boring me... even tho it lasted a few weeks per tank usually! Someone take her now! I'm telling ya this car hasn't let me down once and hasn't shown a sign of letting me down now!

got the ZX2 car is now sitting un-plated... I need it gone! No one else is gonig to want it! So undesirable despite being reliable and fairly nice on insurance! Bump! Someone from the area please buy it!

Also I just realized E-tests are transferable for 12 months? If so I'm hoping to find the e-test and then you wont have to get it e-tested and I know hands down this thing will pass safety for a joke unless you mechanic is out to make a buck!!!

I'll take $1,000 even if its for someone on here. I mean you can't go wrong!! Come look at it and we can take it out for a boot!
