Parting out 92 SC

Well the time has come to part out my 92 SC,the good news is i will be getting a 90 5 speed car.I will be transferring some of the body panels to the other car and most of the interior.If there is anything that you are interested in ask away.:D

Derek- I will look at the cowl and let you know.I have a spare climate control now.Do you mean the plastic piece that goes in the slot where the cd player is mounted.

Fastang- There was a electrical glitch that troubled me last year,that is why i parked the car for the winter.Nothing is wrong with the motor except for a set of new lifters as i have a noisy one in there.The motor is a stroked 3.8,it is now a 4.2.

Bruce-The lowering springs and konis are avaliable.

Dean-The piece on my car is rusted out completely,i dont have a spare one.

Dean, I'm just seeing a red X, but if it's the stamped steel support for the front corner of the rear subframe you're after, they are still available from Ford as Ryan mentioned.

E9SZ 5D022 A is the passenger side, $41.48 is the current wholesale price.

Well,the engine and trans are basically out now and the interior is stripped.I am keeping the trunk lid and lights to go on the other car as well as the interior.I just have to get the rear shocks and springs out and she is going to the wreckers in the sky.If anyone needs anything speak up now before it is gone.

On a good note the car that i bought is a 90 5 speed with only 136,000 km's on her with a new set of head gaskets with arp studs.

Adjustable koni sport front struts and rear springs-5000 km's on them.
All Grey interior pieces including fold down rear seats in leather and all plastic interior including door panels and headliner and visors.
AC compressor off my 92 sc
Ground skirting.
Climate control digital for a 92 and up sc
AC condenser does not leak
AOD tranny rebuilt with wide ratio gears,new clutches(red line),hardened input shaft,baumann shift kit,along with rebuilt torque converter and 2" kevlar od band( if you dont have the updated od band your 1" od band will burn out most common fault in these trans )
I will list more as soon as i am finished putting the car together.

Hi Steve,

i have a 91 grey interior amd could use some interior thingys...

there is a black plastic piece that fits around the inside door handle - it is held in place with some clips - on mine the clip is broken and therefore does not stay in place properly. Maybe i can get the same piece from yours to fit ?

also - drivers side seat belt casing ( the plastic piece that holds the seat belt to the floor) on my car is cracked. maybe yours is suitable ?

finally, i have a 8 way ( or whatever) adjustable seat - and the centre squarish plastic knob cover on one of the seat controls ( located on the left side of the seat) is broken off on mine - maybe that is a piece you have ?


and oh yes - i think my automatic trunk release solenoid is kaput - does yours still work ?

His engine is sold as far as I know. Suspension is up for grabs. :rolleyes: Correct me if I am wrong.

Ryan,Bruce has first shot on the springs and shocks.He is only putting them on his 4.6 so the koni's are overkill.I sold him the H&R springs,you do have seconds on the koni's.Mail me an offer at spn92@sympatico.ca,also let me know if you have the main tensioner pulley and how much you want for it.

Hey Steve, here's a quirky one for you. Firstly is your drivers side door still intact?... Now if it is... what i'm looking for is the little plastic piece that connects to the lock mechanism in the inside of the door. The one on my car has broken and can no longer use the key to lock and unlock the drivers side door. My car is a 94sc, hopefully you have it and it will fit. if you would rather keep the door intact for sale, then thats totally fine with me. Thanks

Luke are they not just reversible for either side,post a pic as i am swapping out the passenger door.I have to have a closer inspection of the drivers door as i may swap that out too.

Steve, i'm not sure if they are refersable, (maybe ED can shed some light on this) I do know that when I took the piece off there was a big "L" marked onto the plastic piece so I assumed it would mean "LEFT". I'll take a pic of the piece tonight and post it for sure.
