There's a link to my pics from the event. I was dissapointed that I was the only SC there, but maybe some more of you slackers will come out next year. We had a great time, starting with the Dyno day and meet and greet at Hooters. Got to meet a lot of nice folks, and see the cars. After like 9 hours at Hooters, we went to the Outback to eat and then to the hotel for a good night's rest before the race. Sunday morning, we all met in the parking lot of the Hotel we were in and headed up to the track for the race. It was a great race, and only a couple guys broke anything. All in all, it was a great weekend.

(BTW, the pics are actually off my phone since my camera broke the first day; so they won't be the greatest quality ever.)

I heard Matt's car ran a 10.2 or something like that...just wondering what the next quickest few cars were running ?

Matt did run a 10.2, and the next fastest was the car in the second picture I posted; he went 12.5 earlier in the day, but slowed down later in the day as the track prep deteriorated. There were no cars in heads up, everyone bracket raced. If I remember right you said you don't like bracket racing, right? I still wish you would have been there.

I wish I could have been there too...but my car is being painted.

Will it be at WFC10? I wish I could make it up there for it...

Anyone else have any questions, and, most importantly, will anyone plan to come next year?

I'm hoping to be down south so if I'm not over in the sand box next year or overseas somewhere, I'll try and bring an SC. Probably won't be anything to write home about but I might use the nitrous and try to get a high 12 on drag radials. Should be possible with a few more bolt ons, gears, and a good convertor and solid shaft.

Awesome, Scott! I too will be running, hopefully I will be in the 13's by then.

Casey,

I'll be arriving around noon on Friday May 18th and leaving to go back home sometime Sunday afternoon the 20th. TBU/SCCoA/TCCoA should have a pretty large group of cars parked in the show area. Just look for the TBU skull & cross bones flag.

Don't forget there is a still a northern race at the end of August, in Ontario, only a few hours from Michigan and about 1 hour or so from Buffalo. More info on that race comign soon.

In August I will still be in Florida more than likely.

I won't be able to make WFC, Carlisle, SC Shootout, Columbus Ford Expo, V6 Challenge, or anything this year. Maybe a local get together if I can somehow get my SC down to where I'm stationed. As much as I would like to go to some events this year I have priorities that I can't avoid. But it's all good. I will always have the intrawebnet thingy so I can look at pics and videos.

Scott, where are you going to be? I am in Dothan, AL, not too far from the panhandle of FL.

The Air Force kind of kept me from going too. My leave got a big fat DENY for this week. I really did plan to go to this event. I wasn't going to bring my car though because I barely trust it to get me 4 miles to work and back:D
I guess I would have been disappointed though if there was only one SC there. :o

Yeah, I was sad.
