Did you blow a fuse? I went through 3 of them when I installed my head unit . The new units should come with a wiring diagram as well so you should be able to figure out what is what.

I had a short somewhere in my power wire on my radio. I just re-wired everything with better quality wires. Its a saturday kind of project. My car doesn't have the jbl sound system though, so that simplified the job.

Don't mess with pulling the dash. What year SC do you have? I've got the wiring diagrams. Shoot me a PM and we can meet up so you can check them out.

Pulling the dash is NOT fun.

If you do ever pull the dash, replace the Blower motor, Heater core, and the AC evaporator while you are at it and you shouldn't have to do it again for a long time.

Search my old posts if you do pull the dash, I had trouble but kept adding to the Post everything as I went along as a reference for future use.

It has to atleast be unbolted and pulled down. Four nuts and it comes straight down.
