OK, so far it looks like we only have 4 people confirmed for dyno tuning.

Steve Pathay
Paul Bromell
Matt Leskiw
Bruce Burns

If this is to happen, then 2 more people need to get it on it, or the 4 will have to share the added cost ... or get road tuning only.

Anyone else for dyno tuning?? If so, all of the information is in the post stuck to the top of the forum:

The sale of my car just fell through, so I might as well continue to have fun with it until I can find another potential buyer.

...Apparently the car cannot be sold to a buyer to be registered in the U.S.A. Ford says they cannot provide a "Safety and Emissions Compliance Letter" because the vehicle is not equipped with either the passive restraint system or airbags.

I'll have to get it in for an e-test later this week, and you can count me in for the dyno tuning. I'll try to participate in the track day also.

Anybody got any stickies mounted on 'Stang bolt-pattern rims?

Regards,

Sean

So does that mean you're in for dyno tuning? If so, we need to get you confirmed on the list.

thx

Would be nice to see you there Sean. Sorry about the sale of the car. I hated to see it leave Canada. If I win the lottery tomorrow I will give you a call? You take payments?? LMFAO

Sorry, Ed. I guess I should have made that clear. Yes, I'm in for the tuning. I'll have to see what I can do about schedule for Dave to do the road tuning part of it.

I'll be in touch with him to confirm that I'm in for a new SCT chip, and the tuning.

I'll have my EEC Tuner available for sale to Fraser Turner (if he's still interested) after the tuning session (or at the session if he's looking for some tuning).

I look forward to seeing the other guys there!

Cheers,

Sean

Sean, tell them you don't want a safety letter. You only want a statement about emissions.

Your car doesn't have to meet any safety regulations. Damn, I had no idea this would be so difficult. Anyway, call customs, they are open 24/7 so just call them up. Talk to a supervisor if you have to. This should not be such a big problem.

Please check this thread (http://www.sccoa.com/forums/showthread.php?p=621456#post621456) and let me know (on that thread, not this one) when you will be available for road tuning. This is not an optional part of the tuning session.

I'm still good for that tuner Sean. I won't be going for a tune this time round as I've some work to do on the car first, including a new rear main seal that suddenly started to leak over the winter , so I'm probably gonna pull the motor out and clean up the entire engine bay while I'm at it..... thats IF it ever warms UP!!!!

Just a reminder for everyone who is going to be having any tuning done ... get your right side kick panel off, and have your engine computer accessible for David, to keep things moving quickly.
