I don't know how many people on here Woot www.woot.com, but today on there they have a 4 tire pressure monitoring system with dispaly for 100 bucks (plus 5 bucks shipping). It will be on there until 1 am EST or until it sells out. My wife's 300M Special has a TPMS in it from the factory and it is a good way to keep an eye on your tire pressure. You can actually see the pressure rise and fall depending on your driving style (twisty's tend to make it rise, etc...) I look at it after I run over some crap on the highway to male sure all is well and I didn't puncture on of the uber expensive Michelin Pilot Sports and damage it....

those things are garbage most of the time. I've seen many a so called low tire pressure according to the system but when you check it, its perfectly fine, plus if you get a tire plug put in it, I think it messes it up.

I have a system on my car, can't remember which one right now, and it is never wrong. Of course, I have yet to find a real world application for it, but whenever I double check it the information it gives is correct.
It will save time checking tire pressure, but I mean, come on guys. It is a nice little toy though

The TPMS on our Jeep is very accurate, I wouldn't mind one for the SC.

The one in our Chrysler is dead on all the time. It even has the pressure for the 18" spare as well monitored. Teh one in my '07 Sport Trac isn't noticable. The owners manual says it is there, but all it is is an alarm that goes off if the pressure drops or is too low...

I hate those things. Both my old 2004 Explorer and the 2006 Expedition that replaced it both have that stupid system. Everytime the temp drops the indicator light comes on..the first few times I actually checked all the presures and they were within 1 psi of each other. Drive it for 10 miles and get some heat into the tires and the light finally goes out.
It's on so often (nearly every day in the winter) that if the tire really was going flat, I would ignore it.

PS: Our Charger SRT has a better system that warns you and shows a display of what pressure is in each tire to help ID where the problem is...it only went off once when it got really cold.

That is how the system in our Jeep is, a display of a vehicle outline with the 4 different tire psi's listed. I have manually checked the readings a few times over the last two years and they have always been dead on. It worked great as a diagnostic tool when we got a nail in one of the tires, it simply blinks with the lower psi. It also alerts you when the spare tire pressure is low which is nice so you never get stuck needing your spare only to find it has gone flat.
The TPMS has never given a false alarm. I doubt I would buy another vehicle without it.

yea i use to be a porter and they always were wrong reading low pressure and so on maybe it was somthing the dealer still had to set up or maybe it was just the batch i delt with
also 300's and magnums had probs at the factory with the pinch welds we didn't get them for 4months cuz they had to fixing them all.
