If you are going to spend the money on an MPX and I assume all the supporting mods. Why not just get the coated rotors

In an MPIII the coated rotors added 15 rwhp on my car...about 1.5 extra pounds of boost because of the tighter case seal. I would suggest getting them.

Is there some reason you just don't check with Charles Warner at MP to see what has happened to your order?

I just wanted to check with the other fine people on the forums that ordered the MPX, I know SCU got almost 400 HP, I cant wait untill other people start to hit the dyno

And he said he was seeing if other people were in the same boat... most likely to gauge how loud to scream at Charles.

I got my MPx/pulleys/belts last Friday but couldn't bolt it on b/c the extra long bolts (130mm) never showed up like they were supposed to. Heading to the dyno this Weds. Keep in mind that I got mine b4 others b/c I could not wait for powdercoating and Charles knew that far in advance and worked with me on it. Starting it up, tonight. :D

I just called him about 5 min ago, My MPX case is in, he still needs to put the GTP rotors in. But now the PROBLEM is he is out of the 15% OD pulleys  He said there are alot of people with the MPIII that are buying the 15-25% OD kits. But on a good Note I was one of the first (After Dave at SCU) to order the MPX (ordered in jan), So I'll have one of the first that get shipped............only time will tell

I was seeing 19.5lbs boost with MPx, coated rotors, 25%od, XXIC, 2.5" exhaust with headers and no cats.

Stock Heads and Cam?

Please take it to PM's

So...1 person got an MPX that had no powdercoat and they havent had a chance to install it yet, the other poster in this thread has received the MPX but it makes noise...great

In the end all the money I gave to MP better pay off

I hope the Intake,TB,Plenum,MPX, 15% really make the # on the dyno

Thought you wanted to know some dyno numbers. I must have miss read.

Just giving reference on bolt ons so you can estimate what kind of numbers you'll get.
Dalke heads and cam probably why only getting 17#s of boost, long tubes no cats, big dog exhaust, 85mm TB, 90mm Lightning MAF

My MPIII with coated rotors rattles at idle.
I bought a stethoscope from Advance.
With the stethoscope I also checked nose, jackshaft & idle pulleys (which are new).
Turns out to be the bearings in the back of the case.

pablon2, it is disappointing to hear your MPX rattles at idle.
I paid more $$$ to Charles to upgrade/receive to a MPX.
Perhaps the coated rotors need a different bearing in the back of the case?

The rear bearings have <1,000 miles on them. Perhaps they weren't packed with grease when the MPx was assembled? As long as the rotor pack isn't hitting the case, which I am certain it is not, I am not too concerned. Just a little annoying/embarrassing. :o

I finally recieved my mpx case and inlet last week so now I have all of my planned upgrades, gtp rotors, .520 lift comp cam, 1.73 scorpion roller rockers, mildly ported and polished heads, 60 lb injectors, 85mm tb, 80mm c&l maf, 25% od kit, 2 program scp chip from dave dalke, shorty ac condenser and I also plan on pulling the block and freshening it up, 300+ rwhp here I come. I still have the zex 75 hp wet nitrous kit I plan on keeping, that's the reason for the 2 program chip. :D
