So I dont get blasted for douching up an important thread.
"Magnum Powers Announces New Blower for the SC"

The owner will not be stepping forward. If you see a white SC with a cowl hood at the track, beware.

Why is everything like this such a secret. Is someone scared they will get beat up and their SC stolen? Or is someone trying to make a sneak attack at the top spot on the SC list? I dont understand.

I could see if we were at the local burger joint and had differing cars and it was a race for money but these are all SC's.

Cant be unless he owns a newer Bird. The one on Andy's page is a 91. The ont in the dyno video wasnt.

Before everyone gets into a guessing war, I really don't think the owner hangs out around here very much. I saw the car, and it didn't look familiar at all. That being said, I have no problem with someone not wanting to participate in SCCoA events or post on the forums. The guy has spent a good deal of money on SC parts, and I think that supports the community plenty. Besides, from what I understand Dave pretty much built the thing, so it's not like he knows SC secrets that his anonymity prevents us from getting our hands on. We should be thanking this guy, whoever he is, for providing such a good test platform.

Suppose I should have watched the video before guessing who's car that is. I have no idea who it belongs to, but those look like Chris Lazzo's old wheels  So maybe it won't be that hard to figure out.

Thank you, that was very well put. The owner doesn't want recognition, he is a strong supporter of things we do here and he just wants to keep it that way as far as I know. I never asked him about posting on SCCOA but he is quite capable of posting if he so chooses. Evidently he chooses not to.

After sitting all winter the car is getting ready to attempt 100HP nitrous on top of the MPX. We had a lot of problems with fuel delivery and we believe we have come up with a workable solution. As soon as I get a chance to test it we will post the results. :D

And no, those are not Lazzo's wheels.

I was not busting balls here in any sense. I just dont understand, if you accomplish a feat with these cars why you wouldnt be beating your chest. Not so much for Kudos from everyone else but to merely express the gains you hav4e made. I guess I am just differant. Believe me, if I had the money and could pay you to build mine. I would be all over it. But patience, mine will come. I plan on doing everything I can to the car. My son will be driving it to school one day........in another 7 years. And thats what it may take to get it where I want it.

I think it's MakoSC.

The car Dave built him last year was a 1990 5-speed with current red interior. This car is a 94-95 with an auto.

What's not to understand? The guy doesn't post on SCCOA. Never has, most likely never will. He just doesn't want to so it would be polite just to leave him alone. If you want to know what works and what doesn't or what we learned on the car I'll tell you all about it but thats it.
