Are the heads on these cars aluminum? I assumed so since everyone says to be sure and replace the plugs on a cold engine.
Plus I have seen plenty of reference to easily-stripped spark plug-hole threads, another common symptom of aluminum heads.
But, I find it hard to fathom that Ford would have used aluminum heads on a supercharged engine...especially way back then!
So...what's the answer?
