Hi Eddie...
The FPR is in behind the engine close to the fire wall on the drivers side...Its down low...Really hard to see...But its there..And the vac line that runs to the FPR is not the same place u take fuel pressure redings at...U take the reading at the srader valve...Its on the drivers side,,right infront of the supercharger top and the intercooler pipe..

OK Ifound it,fpr,Is this the line to unplugafter youve connected your gauge to the schrauter valve and youre checking for proper fuel pressure.
Ive read thru posts and it says todisconnect the vac line

To get the hose off..If u can get a pair of needle nose pliers in there and pry it off,,at the base where the vac line stops on the regulator..It shouldn,t be on there that bad...Usually when the FPR goes bad it dumps fuel into the intake manifold..Its the diaghram that fails inside the FPR..
So if and when u get it off..Your idle will rise up when the vac is off....And old hotrod trick was to leave it disconnected...So u have more fuel pressure..Never tried it myself..Maybe old wise tail..Now when u put on a fuel pressure gauge on the srader valve....U will see the differance with it connected and disconnected...Should be a couple of p.s.i....

thanks for your help
I found the vac line for fpr, when i unhooked it yes fuel pressure went up to 42psi, was 32 with it hooked up,does this mean my fuel pressure regulator is ok and working normal, and that my problem is something else.or should i disconnect the other line to see if gas coes out.
any help is greatly appreciated

Did u note the gauge when the engine was off to see if it was holding pressure?

yes the gauge holds 42,and takes like an hour to get to zero.
Ive come to connclusion of my problem to be wires, after just wigling them around, car ran geat for aspin around the block, but sputtered again, played with wires again, good for another spin, but back to spuddering.I will be replacing plugs and wires.well try to anyway, when weather gets better
