View Full Version : Got my new SCCOA sticker today...looks sweet. !!PICS!!

well, the other day i went to Kalamazoo and got a sticker made for my 89 SC. It's a big thing with me to get stickers made for diffrent car clubs for my cars. I have a picture attached. Check it out and let me know what you think. Also, excuse the nasty looking rear pannel.....I havent got around to getting the car cleaned up yet this year.

Watch out for copy right enfringement. :eek: I don't think George would mind, but it's always good to get permission before hand. ;)

i'm just doing it to get reconition to the site for people around the area. Maby other people around here have a SC and dont know about the site. I hope george dosent mind. I only paid $20.00 for it.

i would like one also lol if you get sued thats bs but hey its not my site. its only helpin out this site not hurting it and its freedom of speech..

I have a small one on my 92 SC that I got from Bill E. at carlisle when he was the president of the club.

I would assume you should get one along with a membership pack when you join the club and pay your fee, but I guess they don't do that here.

I don't think it's a problem for you to get that made for your car, but if you start selling them, then the club sees no money from it and since the club is actually an organization and has a tax id. etc... then you can see the legal side of selling stuff with their name on it.

Just like you can get a FORD sticker made but if you start selling FORD stuff without a license you can get sued.

Is it a problem, I don't know. It's a nice sticker. Hard to miss that one.

Well you are right about creating awareness for the site.

I hope some new people see that and check us out.

I was in KZoo today and yesterday and I saw a red 93 SC I followed him for a while, gave him thumbs up, and when he turned near western campus, I showed him some blower whine.

In the song "I've Been Everywhere" they mention Kalamazoo. It's a medium sized city in Michigan where Western Michigan University is located. I'm about 50 miles away from there but my girlfriends brother and his wife live there and we go there frequently.

I didn't realize I was close to AMFRacing, he is in Three Rivers which is south of KZoo. Hopefully him and I can make it to the track next Saturday.
