Pontiac Superbird? Are you referring to the the Plymouth Superbird? If so, those wings certainly were there for a reason ands they most certainly worked.
Please don't get authentic, actual and original muscle-car items confused with the late-model rip-offs 'inspired' by the originals. Just becauise it looks similar doesn't mean it is. The Superbird has some actual race history and heritage.

There are a lot of evo's running around here. Some with wings and a few without. I think it sounded pretty decent and nice runs. As far as the times, I know a lot of people in deep 11's and 10's that drive their car anywhere.:eek:

Subaru has alot better track record on reliability..... Everyone i know with a mitsubshi has to work on it all the time... I've owned a subaru turbo gl-10 turned it up and ran the piss out of it got to 200k and started only having 5psi oil pressure at idle... continued driving it like that and it finaly got a death rattle at 240k... not bad considering... extremely easy to work on too....

STi mean much to you? The 6 speed is praticaly indestructible. The rear in the STi is the first to break with slicks at somwhere around 1.4 60' times. And that is simply an axle upgrade.

They both have terrible interiors, then again, I'm driving around in the grandfather model with cushy leather seats.
