I just got new spark plug agsf34fm,and wires.
The parts guy at ford says to gap them.054
ive read to gap them between .046to.048
any advice.The car is an 89sc,with air intake and sc pully

Gapping it down a bit tighter than OE specs, .046 to .048 as suggested, reduces the chances of getting a misfire under high boost. The smaller gap makes it tougher for the boost to blow the spark out.
