zero miles on this puppy. Its for a 89-93. I bought this off Fturner, and got the royal screw job at the trans shop. So this didn't go in, nor did my Spec flywheel.

I have a question. Will my clutch and everything fit on to this 94 trans (M5R2)????????????

yes, and it will bolt right up to that spec flywheel you got off me last week. The only difference is that the early year is a 11.0 diameter, and the late years are a 11.5 diameter. So you save a small amount of weight with the smaller diameter units. Form what I know everything else will bolt up with no trouble.

Is this a CFII clutch? If it's a CF DF (dual friction), then it is a clutch for an 11.5" flywheel. Centerforce never made a DF for the '94-'95 flywheels.
I believe you can run the late style M5R2 behind either an early style flywheel and clutch combination, or obviously the late style flywheel and clutch combination. You cannot mix and match the flywheels and clutches.
Hope this helps.

Well I'm all confused now.I have a dual friction center force clutch for my 89 cougar.I just bought Ryans spec alluminum flywheel.I also bought the 94 Mr52 trans from Sean.I'm having the newer style 94 trans rebuilt.I want to change it over and I want to know if all the stuff from my older trans like through out bearing and what ever the hell I have to put in the newer trans will fit to hook it all up together?? :D

Greg Just use your old clutch since it's a DF it will work with the 94-95

I just want to make sure that when I pull the tranny down out of the car that everything inside my tranny will come off and fit inside of the newer tranny and we can throw it back up and on my car without any problem at all.If I need to buy anything then I want to know now.Dont mean to be so stupid but I have never done this swap before and I have no idea at all. :D My head is spinning right now with all the things going on like Nickey's car and I have to pic out a new truck by this Friday and my car and we went and bought a laptop last night.(I cant hold on any longer capton,I think I'm going to crash)

Can anyone confirm that a CF DF clutch for an early SC can bolt right up to a late style flywheel? I think this would be about the only potential issue for Greg.

no it can't. You have to keep your clutch and flywheel as a matched set. Becuase of the diameter difference.
Greg, for your flywheel(AL spec), you need a clutch for a 98-93 SC/XR7.

Oh yeah, and the clutch is pending a sale.

OK I just measured the flywheels and they both are 11 inches so I know the alluminum one will fit and I can use my same clutch.Just as long as all the guts from my tranny fits the newer style then I'm ok.(Dam):D

The only things that need to match up is the clutch and flywheel, everything else is the same for all years of the SC. From my reading through all these forums about what is better size wise, it looks like people are saying the larger from the older cars is better as it gives that little bit more for grabbing power.
You WILL have to find out about the starter though.

And Ryan..... I wish I knew you where going to sell it.
I WANT MY CLUTCH BACK!!!!
LOL!
I'm doing the swap to 5 spd anyway, now that I have a clutch line, as that was the reason I gave up on the swap and sold the clutch. Luckily I didn't sell anything else ;).
