Silicone Reducers. Anyone using them

Just wondering if they collapse. I want to run 2.5" pipes for my FMIC and the cooler I decided to go with only comes in 3". I would have to reduce it down to 2.5. Any problem coming straight off the IC to pipe with a reducer?

it'll be just fine doing that especially if you butt the 2.5" pipe right up to the 3" inlet/outlet or at least fairly close. use at least 3-ply silicone reducers, they're alot stiffer than rubber connectors.

if you go with the heavy duty silicone reducers you wont have a problem. i run em on my turbo setup and they hold to 15psi. find the nice ones that are blue on the outside and red inside. ebay has em

Mack truck sell this part in differant sizes and it holds up to 35 pounds of boost all day every day. Use t-bolt clamps to hold it together.
