wanted 92 or better gas tank

I am looking for a gas tank from a 92 or better. I am looking for one with the heat shield around the tank in good condition. If anyone has one they would like to unload pm with how much you are wanting and maybe we can work out a deal

When I bought my later style gas tank, I just called up Mike's Auto Wreckers on Upper Centennial Drive, and they had one out of a '95 4.6L LX. The heat shield was mint, as was the tank, and it had all the mounting straps. The sending unit was in great shape also. All I had to do was wash it to get the dirt off it, swap in my new 255LPH FI pump, and then mount it back in place under my car.

I think I paid $150 complete.

Thanx I never gave it much thought on a non-sc tank being the same. I'm going to see what Brian has first then I'll look into it. Payton I'm like a sleeping bear hibernating for the winter. Just had some things going on that there wasn't time for much of anything else but I'm baaaaaaaack lol

lots of new clips for you but the screen is now in the durango. but being it's an r/t it should still do the trick lol. It's coming slowly. Maybe a new power plant by the end of the year lol. Just getting all the other goodies into it for now. Nice to hear from you Eric and will see you soon

Just wanted to say I drove out to Brian P's on the weekend and I must say it was worth the drive to orangeville. He's a helluva nice guy and has just about any part you could ever need. I was impressed with both him and the selection
