Hello, Jim. It's good to see that your project is coming together. I am new to the So Cal group, and hope to compete for the title of California's Quickest and Fastest at Bakersfield. I hear you are the guy to beat. Just want you to know, I'll use the bottle if I have to, but hope I won't need it. Looking forward to the challenge !!

Hank just thinks cuz he's stroked out bigger than mine and has a snubbed rearend, juice, and all the IC that money can buy, that he's FAST. Glad you got it running. How'd it work out on Wednesday ?

Bigger than yours? I thought you had a 4.3L or something like that. How much more can you go before you go through the water jackets?

I think he's running .040 over bore, but since he modded his block, and didn't have to save room for a stud girdle, his has a lot more swing than mine. Almost 4.5. He could be very easily over 500 hp, but he didn't tell me. So I think his is as big as you can get. What say Hank ? How big is yours ? :)

It's 4.48 liters and chassis dynos 438 on the motor. I have a 150 shot on it, but have never used it all. I see that everyone around here is getting excited for the race. Me, too. Plenty of timeslips and pics there. It will be a pleasure to be in such good company. Good luck to everyone that makes the effort on their machines and treks to the meet. I'll run out there with John.
