Would anyone be willing to ride with me to Kingston to look at a T-bird?

I'm working to see if I can do this on Sunday, the 22nd. Leave in the AM, look at and then purchase T-bird. Make any needed adjustments and drive home.

It looks like a great car.

1997 LX sport

White ext, winter tires on wheels, but a little high in KM's 253xxx. Has all the usaul T-bird goodness of coarse.

This would great if I can find somebody to drive my other car back, once I buy this car. Er, I mean, IF I buy the car.

Well, I live in Trenton, which is about one hour west of Kingston. You will be passing right by me. I can't go with you to drive the car back to Acton, but if you are able to stop either on the way there or back, we could meet up for coffee at the Tim Hortons off the 401.

That would be cool. It would be the first meet I'd show up at with 2 T-birds that I owned at the same time.

If you aren't able to find anyone to drive the car back, I can go with you and bring it back to Trenton, and you could park it in my driveway until you can find someone. I have like 7 cars in my driveway as it is, so what's one more?

Either way, I look forward to seeing your Tbirds.

Sorry Ryan. I am going to the track, as you know. My track time will be so limited this summer, I need to go when I can. If you can do this on Saturday, I am available.

Looks like I have found a co-pilot, Kendra. On Friday night we'll be heading to Sudbury to see the in-laws, then on Saturday morn we are driving back home, well almost. I'll be heading out to Kingston either Saturday or early Sunday.

This car sounds like a good deal. Its little hight in price at $4,000.00 1 owner 253Km's 2 stes of wheels, well maintained from the pics he has sent me. Cars looks like he has kept up with cleaning the car. No rust is visable from the pics he has sent me. Car has been rust checked since new. I was told that rust check has a transferable warranty, does anyone know if thats true?

I'll keep you guys updated, maybe the timmies meet will be needed just to keep up awake..;)

That's good. Let me know what day you are coming through.

Also, I may be interested in your sunroof motor. Bring that down with you, I will make sure I have $20 this weekend.

Yeah I checked my local rust check guy, he has oil sprayed my SC since I've owned it. Told me all the things about transfering that over to me. Just need the paper work from the previous owner. Also for the warranty to cover the car you have to oil spray the car EVERY year, if you miss one year, warranty is VOID.

Scott, I'll give you a shout tonight.
