OK, I was all ready to let this car go, until my wife pushed her new car date up. The car she is driving, WAS going to be my ride, but now since that's in play as a trade, I'm out of a ride. :(

So what I'm saying is that I can't sell yet or until she's pleased. :(

Please forgive my lack of prudence on this matter.

================================================== ========

Make: Ford
Model: Thunderbird Supercoupe
Color: Pearl White/Grey
Year: 1995
Transmission: 5 speed
Miles: 114k
Location: Blacksburg, Virginia (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=blacksburg,+va&layer=&ie=UTF8&z=12&om=1&iwloc=addr)
Price: $2000 obo

Pics: The Coupe (http://daggett.iddl.vt.edu/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=25)

The Blurb
Purchased: Aug-2004
Mileage then: 105K
Mileage now: 114K

Pros: Man, it starts everyday and goes! It drives and stops straight and smooth. It handles well, and the power comes on relatively nice and smooth. No stuttering, smoking, weirdness. Just nice. No inconsistencies at all. Everything works, except the power antennae. It's a nice highway car and really, I drive it everyday.

Cons: 1-2 shift, sometimes it balks. Which means, it'll be time for a rebuild soon. Mechanic noticed an anti-freeze leak from the front of the engine once the car gets warm. So, at some point a head gasket may be in order. Driver's door sags a little, not unbearable, just annoying. The console could be cleaner. But god, I still love this car. Just want to pass it on to someone that might restore it.

Recent work: Passenger side hub, bearing and yoke.

Overall the car has surprised me. It is a blast to drive and the trouble I've had has been very manageable.

I can be reached, if interested, here: eromlige@yahoo.com

P.S. I'm also not averse to a decent trade.

Yeah, thought I'd give people something to look at. I hate it when people don't take enough pics of a car they're trying to sell. I only wish I had a lift too, would've done the underside also.
