If you can stand the red interior, it's a hell of an SC...

That's probably a fairly rare color combo for a 95.

lol that kind of looks like my old 93
I saw that one this morning. If it were a 5-speed car, I'd be half way to Moline already!

9 grand!!!!! i don't think so.
Color combo is not optimum, but if it were a 5-speed, I'd learn to love it. I agree that they're dreaming at $9K, but it's at a dealership, so they're fishing. In the end, $5-6K would probably buy it. It's worth that, if it's as-advertised.

I bet they would take 8, which I don't think is a horrible deal for that car with 40k on it. People are paying 1500 less for the same thing with twice the mileage on this board.

9 Grand gets you an LS1 powered F-body or a nice older Cobra.

Your trying to make a point but I am failing to see it's validity. We're all on an SC forum cause we enjoy, "these" cars, not the ones you've listed.....unless of course your assuming all we care about is speed, which obviously we don't......or else we might own a different car......

So you'd pay that much for that SC simply because you "Like" these cars? Time to wake up and smell the coffee. These cars are obsolete and outdated. Only an idiot would pay that much for a SC.

obsolete has nothing to do with it. If people were to wake up and smell the coffee like you suggest no one would have a hobby. I wouldn't be suprised if over half the people on this site have well over 9-10k invested in their cars.....some 20-30-40k invested.
Don't really fell like bs'ing about it, it's not a big deal to me....it's just a hobby and the only return a hobby has is self gratification for the most part.

YES, I would! Isn't that the point of being here in the first place? Obsolete and outdated? So's my all-original, low-mileage '67 R/T. So, that's not really the point, is it?
If I wanted a Camero or Mustang and be just like everyone else, I'd buy one, (or however many I wanted). I'm here for SC's, and original ones at that. And frankly, I'll pay what ever I want to get one that I like. We're not talking big money here; it's only a few thousand dollars, give or take.
Just because I don't want to buy some low-dollar turd, cut it up, slap on some doo-dads, and beat the crap out of it doesn't make me an idiot.
If YOU don't want to buy the investment-grade SC's, then don't. However, I don't expect you to understand or appreciate my interest or focus in this segment of the car hobby.
I'll play in my end of the hobby, and you play in yours - Deal? There's room for everyone.

Yup, that's what I figured; fishing. I'm sure they stole it, like you said. If someone walks in and starts waving a few $1K bills around, I'll bet it's going home with them. Someone's going to get a CLEAN car.
Automatic...that's my luck...

This car is only a few blocks from my house and I stopped and looked at it.
It is one clean car. The inside is mint and the outside is about the same.
The bumpers are clean with no scuffs and I didn't see one door ding or dent
anywhere on the car. Someone took very good care of this car.
I have two all ready but if I didn't I would be all over this one.
So if anyone wants to know anything about this car I would be glad to help.

From the picture, the bottom of the steering wheel is torn up and the DS bolster is fubarred. It takes a lot of abuse to tear a bolster in a 94/95. Most likely the owner was rather large, or they had kids pulling on it from the back seat. Either way, I'd check the seat track to see if it's bent.

Is the inside really mint. Looks poor in the pics. That is what made me stall a bit.

GMTA. Did you notice what looked like white stains on the carpet on the tranny tunnel, PS bolsterand on the DS headrest?
One other thing to check... the top of the rear seat cushions and rear deck. The red fades easily in the sun easily.
PS: The car doesn't have a moonroof. Deal killer for me.

Knew i'd ruffle some feathers with that comment.
Alright. Let's look at this from a different perspective. Why did you buy your SC? Good looks? Cool supercharged engine? If you didn't buy it for performance when why would you modify it to go faster? Face the facts. The SC is a pig and should not be bought if you intend on going fast. There are far BETTER and CHEAPER ways to go fast.

There may be cheaper ways to go fast, but there definitely isn't a more stylish way to go fast. Performance, comfort, features, and feel are reasons I bought mine...cheaper != better imo.....

I agree, I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant in N/A form will almost beat the Supercoupe heads up...
BUT, my Galant doesn't have a moon roof, lighted sun visors for the lady, automatic dimming mirror, etc, etc...
I love being in the Luxury of my car, even if it clunks going down the road right now because the passenger side UCA is on back order!
As far as Cost to HP ratio, I don't think there's another car that you can overdrive the supercharger and gain a lot of HP out of besides maybe a Mini-Cooper S...there's a select few Supercharged SC's...
I could have easily bought a Mustang or Camaro for what I paid for my car that would walk the SC, but then again, every joe and redneck around here has one...so not my game.

Well , actually, since the time they came out I was obsessed with the looks of the car. I loved, and still do, the body lines. It's still is just,,, "SLEAK" to me. Factor in the do-dads and options it comes with just makes it one well rounded vehicle.
....and, for the years they were fast cars. I like the car. That's all there is to it. I have always been attracted to the uncommon stuff. If all I wanted was fast....I could buy a Fox body and chew most ~~~~~ up and spit it out.....btu I like a well rounded vehicle. Not one thats just good for one thing.
They can be very quick, but like you said....for a significant expense. If you like the hobby though, it's worth it. Your talking to someone who's had 1500-2000 tied up in 1 radio controlled truck. Talk about unpractical....but if you like it....you like it. There's not much more to say.
....and no, you didn't get me riled up....:D
