Does anybody know if the starters on 90-92 SC's are the same between autos and 5 speeds?

i am not seeing any differrence on the parts web pages between a auto and a 5-speed starter... so i say you are in the clear...
 
Same starter for all 89 - 95 SC. First application of the permanent magnet style starters for Ford. ;)

Is this SC specific or would a 3.8 NA starter work also. I saw a NA bird in the u-pull-it with a brand new starter and thought hmmmmm but never checked into it.

I'm not at work to be able to check the catalogue listings, but I'm guessing off the top of my head that the NA engine would be using the permanent magnet type starter by 94 as well. Most of the Ford engines had them by around 92 or 93.
