Injectors - Question

i was getting ready to put the injectors back in -i was wiping them down and noticed that 2 - 3 of the injector ends -nozzle side ,have like orange plastic covers and they have cracks -should they be replaced -or do they have replacements that can be used ( the covers )

if i ask this right

and if they do need replaced - what might i use

90 sc - 5speed box

they are called pintle caps, they are there to protect the nozzle tip of the injector from damage...

you can pick them up at kragen
 
thanks - that at least is good news - if i can get them
so i can take the pintle caps off ,then replace

what does a set of injectors go for ,one of the parts store said 169.00 each

well, if you are just going to replace injectors, then you should upgrade, on ebay, they have injector packages,should save you money there... you will get bigger better injectors and the calibrated MAF for a realy good deal....
