spark plugs : either go motorcraft or autolite, platinum or dbl. platinum and gap them to .050.

buy a haynes manual, its worth the $15.

For spark plugs, either go with copper (need to change alot more often, which is a good idea as you get a picture of whats going on inside), or use double platinum's.... never use just platinums like the Bosch, as our ignition system is a waste spark system so current will flow both ways on the plugs and can very quickly destroy a single platinum plug.

I'd do a search through these forums as there is good recommendations on what autolites to use or the default motocraft plugs depending on what your doing. They also recommend a different gap as well.
