Please Help

I have a 95 SC with 68,000 miles on it. The car is a good car yet it is so inconsistent. I've noticed that it will bog out, run funny and the rpms climb really slow if i hit the gas to the floor, but if I get on it fairly gradually, it will run fine. I took it to the track and I could never be sure how it was gonna run. First pass I ran a shameful 17.00, yet the next pass was the fastest ever which was a 15.06, and it was because it didnt bog out on that pass. What could this be, I was going to check my plugs and wires, the knock sensor, and see if there was a vacuum leak. Has anyone ever had this? Please help!!!!

I had a similiar problem with my 1992. Turn out to be that I had an intermittent DIS problem. I change my DIS (with a known working one) and my problem when away. Just a suggestion!
