No Brakes

Well my normal daily driver lost all it's break fluid over night. Drove fine yesterday. Found a puddle of break fluid under the car this morning and I had no breaks. Where would that much break fluid let go from? It looked like it came out of the master cylinder but I was on my way to work and had no time to investigate. Any ideas?

Refill the M/C and have someone sit in the car and pump the brakes while you visually inspect the area for leaks. If it's a bunch of fluid the leak should be obvious.

Check the connection between the fluid reservoir and the hydraulic unit. This is a common source of leaks.

It is most likely leaking at the pump motor.....

The small seal on the pump motor shaft is letting brake fluid into the motor housing......

I have just gone through three of them on my SCs and XR-7s....

I have a few rebuilt pump motors here at my shop, if you need one.....
