Call me nuts but i have converted my wiper arms from pin style to hook style. That way I dont have to use the chatterbox regular blades anymore, I can use the Bosch Icons. But it figures i did that a few months ago and now Trico has they're new "Bosch like" blades The NeoForm or somethin like that that can be used for the pins also unlike the Icons, I still think the Icons Look sleeker in the mounting design though.....

I was actually going to the wrecking yard tommorrow to pull some hook style arms to do the same thing. what arms did you use or did you cut and weld the hooks on?

I hacksawed along where the pin was and along the sides of that plastic end on the arm, then i twisted the pin out leaving the end of the arm with the factory hole in it, I had bought a set of blades for my other car (Bosh Micro edge excel's) and they gave new replacement hooks and two screws for certain vehicles. I lined them up and clamped them together, drilled holes into the arm throught the holes in the new hook brackets and then i tapped them out (i didnt use the screws that came with the hooks since i didnt have the right tap for those threads) and i put some locktite on the new screws tightened em up (I used some QuickSteel and molded some around the arm end and the new bracket and sanded it the best i could so it would look somewhat smooth) and repainted the arms with some black grill paint i had. Then put em on the car and they look pretty good, Im Happy with em. Another Mod Finished... (Alot of times Advance Auto might have a box of wiper clips that they save if you need a pair of hooks)

I just bought the stock replacement blades yesterday. Ten bux a pop hurt enough. I saw those that you mention and I dont think I can spend that much money one them. I dont think I will be driving 150 on a regular basis, they do look cool.

They are a bit pricey about 18 bucks each but they work better, smoother, and quiter than any blade i have ever used, and like i said Trico just came out with the Neoform's for $15 somethin so maybe i'll try them on my other car and see if i can tell the difference. I just look at it as skipping 2 visits to the fast food drive through window and I can have the good blades...
