Water leak passenger side

I just purchased a 94 and upon inspection I found a lot of water under the rug on the passengers side. It is not antifreeze. It appears to be coming from the cowl as the pad on the front wall is also soaked (it has rained the last several days). Any ideas on what may be causing the leak and how to correct???

Hi,Gerry,the leak is prob. the cowl drain is plugged,come by shop w'll try to clean it out w/ air hose.Hope it's not heater core!!! see ya soon. Al

where is the cowl drain exactly? I need to blow mine out.

At each corner of the cowl, there is a little hole for drainage.
