hood shipping

anyone here ever shipped a hood?
just wondering how much it costs and who to ship it through.

Also i was wondering about shipping a complete engine. what kind of regulations are there? i assume all fluids must be drained. who can ship an engine? ups?

I would suggest going with Forward Air with shipping the engine. Very simple to do. All fluids must be drained no matter the carrier.

Package the engine up and take it to a local airport and they ship it too the closests airport for your delivery address. The person that has ordered the engine must go to the airport location and pick the item up.

Even though all of this is done at airports the items are actually shipped on Semis.

what kind of price are we talking about? around $100.00? or more?

With fuel the way it is betting its going to be around $200 -$250. Should be able to get a price from the website.
