another power steering thread

The other day my fuel pump messed up again, and i had to move my car out of my friends drive way, so we were pushing it back and forth to get it next to the curb, and i was cranking the wheel back and forth as fast as possible (ignition was just on since the car wouldn't run) Well it started leaking power steering fluid. Finally got it started and drove it home where it hasn't leaked anymore at all. So my question is, does the fact that i was turning the wheel with the car not running have anything to do with the leak?

Normal cars will push out fluid out the vent when not running and the wheel is turned vigorously. The P/S cap has a smalll hole in it which is a vent If you look the cap probably has fluid all over it. No worries
