This question's for a fellow SC owner who doesn't have access to a computer at the moment.
The deal is his power steering pump is toast and since its on a $300 beater he bought, he doesn't want to have to replace it. He bought a shorter belt to bypass that pulley but where it goes above the water pump and below the tensioner it rubs under throttle. He said he can't find a belt that's shorter without it being way too short.
I suggested taking the UD alternator pulley of his other SC as that'll force the belt down from the tensioner and force the upper loop of the belt higher and push the tensioner up.
Other than trying this, does anybody have any suggestions?
