after installing the new cam over the winter the car runs pretty good
Now and then sitting at a redlight the car will stumble and eventully stall out.
It also wants to stall out when shifting from park to reverse or park to drive.
It acts like its flooded sometimes you have to push the gas pedal to the floor to get the car to refire but it does start.

my question is to you guys who have installed a cam in a car without a tune does this sound familer? i know the car will need a tune sometime soon but is it because of the cam its causing this or could i have a vac leak somewhere i couldnt find one it idles around 11hg or so

any input

my car does all of the things listed.. i have bigger inj's and diff cam...

im getting tuned sunday, I shall report my results back to you

After installing the Steig 240/240 cam I had to raise the idle to about 1100 rpm on mine to keep from stumbling and stalling. Even though the cam I'm using now has much less overlap, I kept the idle the same because it runs smoother.

I'm sure yours needs a tune too.
