a/c evaporator case

All, got my evaporator case out and replacing the evaporator. What has everyone used to seal the case after splitting it to replace the evaporator. Mine appeared to be glued from the factory..

Plain old epoxy reinforced with about a dozen small sheet metal screws. Might have worked OK w/o the screws, but I had to pry it apart after applying the epoxy but before it had set. I had installed the foam strips incorrectly.
