supercharger swap

is there any difference in an 89 and a 95 supercharger? The only thing i have herd is the 95 sc has a coating on the rotors.

And a different inlet, and different size pulley. Tolerances are just a wee bit tighter inside the 94-95 case.

swap

so if the inlet is different, then you mean the 95 supercharger will not fit on my 89 motor? Or will I have to get a new intake?

the inlet plenum is between the throttle body and Supercharger inlet.. it just needs the matching inlet plenum to match the supercharger inlet..

because the 89-93 superchargers are oval shaped and the 94-95 is square shaped witch means the 89-93 inlet wont seal or really even fit the 94-95 charger..;) :D

sorry if this confuses you and if it dose just ignore it :D

i just did this swap, 94 SC onto an 89 engine.

its basically a bolt on. just make sure u have the supercharger and inlet plenum.

i also put a 5% pulley on so im hoping to get a good 35 hp over my 89 SC.

sc
