We are having problems with E-Brakes and SuperCoupe calipers we use on kit car IRS'.
Can anyone give me info on the difference between the early -92 brake calipers and the later 93+ brake calipers. Casual observation and they look similar. Yet there has to be a reason they carry different part numbers.
The later SuperCoupes set the E-Brake by moving the brake housing and it "pushes" the lever to engage the puck. Is this system problematic on the Coupe's Is there a way to improve its holding power.
When we try to set the brakes, they do work, but poorly. Can not get them to hold on a hill
From the part numbers we have, the manufacturer is using the Ford Motorsports knuckles with 93 calipers. Rotor and hub is from Mustang.
Anyone run into this and find a solution?
thanks
Paul
