If you are planning to run it to the ground go for it. If you are planning on keeping it for a long time, pass on a salvage title, very few people would give you all the money for it.

he said they salvaged it for a

fender and light repair:confused:

doesnt sound right...however, its a 95sc with under 100k. for $2500...thats the lowest he wants to go.

i will probably run it into the ground. the 95 would respond well with the 5% intake and exhaust. better than my 90.

Its not the repair its the branded title thats the issue. If you gonna run it to the ground go for it thats a good deal. Only you will know about the title.
You can use that as leverage to get the guy to come down a little more.

yeah

what would you pay. i dont want to lowball it and lose it. but im not paying 2500 for a slalvaged 95sc.

You already got him down to $2500. At this point seems like you are ready to buy, I would ask for another $500. You will not insult him with that offer. Business is business, you should not take it personal, neither should he if he wants to sell the car.
Simply bring up the argument about the title again. To him it might not be a big deal, to a collector it means everything. If not meet half way on the $250 you both gotta give a little to get an agreement.

A salavage title car is worth exactly half of what the book value of a non salvaged title car.Or atleast thats what I've always heard and been told.

Just an f/y/i you won't be able to use you're catless down tubes from you're 90 on it cause the 94/95 passenger side manifold outlet is at an different angle.
