At what rpm should I see full boost?

I am having a problem tracking down my boost leak. I have checked for leaks with an air compressor and went from 6 pounds or so to like 8 pounds. I have tried 2 different Eaton's "put on a known not so good to port other" and the only way I hit 10 pounds is at 4500 rpm's. I think I will pick up a intake gasket kit one of these days and eliminate that and do the injector o rings too.

i'd check belt slippage,or a weak tensioner, not just the s/c side i'm up to 11-12 by reclocking the tensioner. it was only running 8..maybe 9:cool:

It could also be the IC itself, as the epoxy that was used to seal the IC up is known to get hard and brittle causing leaks.

I'm still looking for an epoxy I can use to reseal mine.

well I just got done replacing the intake gaskets and that put me between the I in psi and 10# and suggestions?

where do you mean? where the ic pipes meet?

He means you need to check where the IC tubes attach to the end tanks.

bump.....

I am just curious the best way to pressure test our cars for vaccuum leaks. I have heard of using soapy water and starter fluid and spray it around joints, but these haven't helped at all or worked correctly for me...
