I know a few people in the system here , it may not be too big of an issue unless its stolen.
I'll be glad to help with any troubles you got with the car and I imagine Ed would be more than willing to help if you bribed him with a beer or 12:D

well the issue is that it has 2 yes 2 leans against it my dad has it and is tryin to get it but it cost money that he doesnt have right now but he isnt worried, if anyone wants to start anything:D he will put a mechanics loan against it, so yeah thats just about it, other than that, i love it, i only get to let it run about ever 2 months or so and everytime it cranks right up! oh by the way, how can i fix the door? the lever thing is broken i think!

Without satisfying the existing liens , the only way to get a free and clear title here in SC is to put a mechanics lien against it. Remember though here in SC you have to go through the magistrate and post it with the rest of the auto that have a magistrates lien on their board for all to see. I have done a few like this and I generated a bill so high that no one wants to even look twice. After all is said and done it will take about 45 days for the whole process to complete. Then the magistrate will issue what is called a magistrates title and you then go to the highway dept and get a clear title. If you need help with the process I can guide you along the way and also have alldata here which will generate and shop bill.

Are you talking about the inside lever to open it or the outside one? CVhances are the rod just fell off or the the mounting hole for the rod is broke. Either way its fairly easy to do.

thanks, about the door, i pull the outside lever and it doesnt catch i guess? but i can open it from the inside no problem and any help with the mechanics lien would be appreciated, like i said, my dad is the one who would do it but any help i could pass along would be greatly appreciated!

thanks shadow

A few of us from Charleston are going to the SVT day in Jackson on the 10th of Nov. It is mostly Lightnings and some Mustangs. How far is Midway for you?

Here is the website for the track.

http://www.carolinadragway.com/

It is out west on I 20 toward the GA / SC border. SVT rents the track for the morning until 5 or so and races all day.
