Made it home after a GREAT day at Bakersfield. For those who missed it...you guys missed a GREAT meet. Plenty of runs, SUPER GREAT people. BEAUTIFULL cars (and mine ):( :D and ofcourse the awards lol.

Wendy and I had a GREAT time in Bakersfield! Pulled into Sac at 9:30 pm with no troubles from either SC.

Hopefully will have the pictures downloaded tomorrow.

We defently will have to do this again! This was one meet we are glad we didn't miss!

I prefer to say I came in second...

The first run was soooo messed up. I spun so bad for like the begining 1/8 and threw more smoke than cheech and chong. The other runs were not my best and I redlighted once in a run I surely would have won.

Ummm, the only way you guys could have seen that she actually beat me was if you saw that I red lighted...I still ran faster by 2 tenths and by about 3 miles per hour and was about 3/4 of a car in front of her so :D ok ok ok, My ego is shot that she beat me...oh man...I demand a rematch! lol thanks for not embarrasing me too hard nikki!

Remember Al, you didn't get beat...you just didn't win. I had a great time with you guys and thank you for all your encouragement Ron. Without it I would have just sat there and watched (which would have been fun too). I got home in time to have dinner with Juliette and after explaining the day she really wished she had been there. 470 miles (round trip)seemed like a bit too much after the 8100 we just got finished with. I did the whole day on one tank of gas though...maybe my little chicken likes running--hmmm. Anyway, thank you to everyone who helped make that day such a pleasure...my RT's weren't as good as Al's (if .500 is perfect, less is better than perfect, right?) but I had a great time! I'm already looking forward to the next time.

I have to say it was a great meet !!! met lots of friendly people thats came from out of state as well as people that came from all over cali at the track. It was great to see people work together and have a good time.. Hey Al, you need more traction.. The first time you raced all i could see was the smoke that was coming out of the tires.. You must of layed about 10,000 miles worth of rubber.... :p I am so looking forward to the next meet, and hope more people can go to the next race (or meet).. the more people the merier.......

Oh Yeah !! I agree with on that one with you al. We should have another meet (race) or even a club cruise.. which ever one everybody chooses to do, i am down....
