Im not exactly a new owner. i have had like 5 super coupes but i dont know anything about cars. id like to know how to lower my car a bit .i just put on 225 55 16 and the car sits too high.is it expensive to do? also is there anyone in the philadelphia area who does work on these types of cars and knows what they are doing. my tranny slips a bit when i first start the car but once it is warm it never does,any ideas ?

You just have to buy some aftermarket lowering springs. Eibach makes a set, as well a H&R and Suspension Techniques. Just use these manufacturers in a web search and look through an online catalogue to find the part #s. Then, go to a local parts supplier and find out pricing and availability.

when you first start the car put it in reverse then forward then reverse then go forward and see if it slips, it could be that the trans pump is losing presher, the reson for putting it in reverse is that reverse is the gear with the most presher try it let me know if that works.
