95 cougar Tranny

Im tring to find out what tranny is in my car 4.6 liter V8,And did anybody out their put a stick shift in a 94-97 MN-12 and what tranny works? I have a tranny from a 92 SC 5 speed will that bolt up to a 4.6 liter?

Yes, it has been done. There is a fair amount of info on the swap over at tccoa.

No, the 3.8L bellhousing bolt pattern is not the same as the 4.6L pattern.
