Little issue!!

This has happened twice, while im driving (once on a hilly road, once at 55mph Cruise) the tach completely quit, and a second later, the car started to jerk, kinda like a really bad shift, remember learning to drive a stick? Thing is, hit the clutch, rev it up, same thing, its a really really rough running engine (nothing in the clutch, tranny, or the horrible driver). Now this thing runs like an absolute champ any other time. I shut it off, crank after crank, let everything cool off, 5 or 10 minutes later it starts again, good as new. Anyway know what in the world is going on?

DIS module, and/or cam sensor, try pulling some codes.

same thing happened to me and it was the DIS module. you can also let it idle and try tapping on the module and see if the tach moves irratically

Get some artic silver or equivilant from a computer store. Its a heat sink compound. Remove the DIS, and clean both surfaces thoroughly. Now put a thin coat of the heat sink compund on one of the surfaces and bolt back down.

See if that stops the problem for you.

BTW, This is NOT dieletric grease.
