Just finished putting my bird together with some up grades. The up grades are 38 lbs injectors, 80 mafs with sample tube to fit injectors, a 75 mm tb, and cam with a duration of 212/224 and new roller rockers, and now the car wont stay running. With a vaccum gauge connect the needle fluctuates rapidly only about 3/4 inches and holds about 10 inches and the car doesn't misfire or run rough and then it dies when placed in gear. Can any help.

check for vacuum leaks around the entire intake tract. especially at the hoses for the inlet plenum.

make sure your sample tube is facing the right way.

did u delete the EGR ?

did u get any kind of tune ? you're definitely going to need it after putting the cam in just to get it to idle right.

Well their is no egr and the mafs is facing the right way. But it hasn't been tune and it does have a roller rocker set up but their just bolt on.

You will need a tune to get your car running right with that cam, or pull the cam and get a stocker put back in.

hahaha

for all the time, money, and cuts and scrapes on your hands, might as well leave the cam in and save 350 for an SCT tuneable chip. if u need the car as a daily driver, then u may be bustin out that credit card :)

valve clearance should be at .09-.19 if it isn't buy longer or shorter pushrods to compensate. that is the valve to underside of the rockerarm clearance.
