I just got my first car, a 93 SC. Because this is my first car I was wondering if there is anything I should know about a SC. Also I was wondering if SCs were prone to any kind of problems.
I do have a question, do you need to change the oil in the supercharger, if so how.

Welcome! What part of the world are you in?

As for the SC Fluid, does not normally need to be messed with, however you can change it if you wish. The best thing to do is go to your local GM dealer and tell them you need super charger fluid. GM cars (Grand Prix/Monte Carlo) use the same SC (Eaton M90) as your SC. You will need 2 bottles (I think you need 8oz for a refill) they are 6oz each and run about 8 bucks. IF you go to Ford, a bottle will run you over 20 bucks. As for changing the fluid out, you can either take the SC off and tip it forward to drain out the fluid, or get yourself a turkey baster and some tubing and suck the old fluid out and replace it. The SC is full when you can see the fluid at the bottom of threads on the Allen key plug hole...
