Engine block ?

Is the 94-95 block that much better than the early models? I want to build another motor for my SC over the winter. It's a 92 with a good original motor, just over 103k miles. Would it be better to start with this one or buy a later model block from a junkyard and build that? The junk yard block would run me $300. Is it worth the extra money to buy another block or just rebuild the one I have? I plan on bolting my MP2 up to the rebuild with all the bolt ons to include mild cam and some head work. Thanks

Unless you need to use the car for a daily driver, I would rebuild the one you have. Don't think there is any differnce in the 89-93 or 94-95 blocks. The 94-95 did have better rods and full floating pistons, but you probably won't be re-using the pistons anyway.
