just taken out of a 97 crown vic. thats right. a 460. my boss had this motor in the car while he was biulding his aluminum headed 500 inch motor.
its just a 74 460. was in a galaxie or something that. the crown vic with this motor was faster than my SC time and time again. it makes mountains of torque on pump unleaded. its just basicall a long block with oil pan, valve covers, timing cover. i think the timing set may be fresh. its been stored indoors for about 9 months. i can also get ya a trans on the cheap and a rear sump pan for t bird use. no noises, no smoke (except from your tires) if it was that badass in a full interior crown vic with cold air, it would be at least AS brutal in a tbird. has a factory 4 bbl intake that needs to be chunked in favor of something aftermarket for a 30 lb weight savings
with a cam, and a light head deck to get the comp up, it would be downright silly. you can stick your fist in the intake port just about.
ill take $400 for the motor or trade for some SC parts.
