Diff. Question.????

How hard is it to and what is involved in changing the clutch pack in the diff..... Basically is it a do it yourself kind of job.... If it is how much would something like that cost?
 
It doesn't look too bad to do. Here is a link to an article about doing one in a stright axle diff (ours are the same on the inside, just ignore the part about "C" clip removal):

You'll need to remove both half-shafts and take the pumpkin out of your 'Bird and then remove the rear cover to get at the clutch packs. The ring and pinion are undisturbed by the process, so that makes it a lot easier than a gear install!
