Staying at the Beau Rivage... there's less of me than when I saw you at the car show in NO though, about 150 lbs less.

Doodaa, what days are you going? And what car are you going to be in? Congrats on the 150.

We're going to be there 10/4 thru 10/7. I think we'll be in a Mark VIII but may take the V6 Mustang 'vert if the weather's nice. We'll probably be over your way a couple days before heading back to CtC but NO is *her* time so I don't want to ask if there are any car related events closer to town and earlier in the week. ;)

I'll listen for you... can't be too many Cougars that sound like yours there. ;)

Im totally down. I can bring the rustbucket or maybe the cougar if its finished.

I am not sure yet if I am going to bring the cougar or not. I will be there at the same time already took off work. Maybe we can all meet somewhere. Danzajax what year cougar do you have?

I'm up for a meet. Maybe you want to suggest a location? I'm sort of familiar with Ocean Springs but wasn't all the good on the other side of the bridge before the storm. I'm planning to be in the area of the swap meet at least one day... momma wants some stuff for her Mustang and it's her birthday. ;)

Those guys at TCCoA in the MS forum always seem to be trying to get something together too. At least one of them lives along the coast iirc...

meeting by the swap meet sounds good I always attend it. That would probably be the easiest since hurricane katrina wiped out most of the landmarks. Unless you want to meet by a car show at one of the stops. I wonder if they are going to have burnout alley again in bay st louis

There are so many cars and so much going on it's hard to choose a spot. I've not been over to Bay St. Louis at all. I stayed in Ocean Springs the year before Katrina and got the next year rudely cancelled. That special report thing Elizabeth Vargas did with the semi truck embedded in the hotel behind her? That was where my reservation was. :( Didn't go last year due to financial issues.....

We'll call it the neighborhood of the swap meet then. Do we want to get together for dinner/wings or just hang in a parking lot and BS for a while? Or maybe pick a spot along 90 to set up some lawn chairs and maybe a cooler and yard sign that says "SC Guys here!." Burnout alley might be fun too, we heard from a Corvette guy that the local cops weren't limiting that activity to any special spot. Apparently the local police have decided to help to encourage folks to have a good time by not being all tight about every little thing.

Usually on saturday nite my buddies and I find a good spot along 90 I have the bbq pit on back of my truck and we grill/drink beer and watch the stupidity....It's good fun

08-30-2007, 03:05 PM
Alright... that sounds like it'd work for me. I'll see if I can get her to come along. What should I bring for the BBQ? I'll shoot you a cell number via PM so we can firm things up, like exactly where in that 30 mile stretch turns out to be "a good spot". ;)

doodaa, are you still going to the coast? on the 4th and 5th I will be in my buddy's 96 white z28 then on saturday I will be in another's buddy's 96 tahoe. the tahoe you cannot miss it will be the highest vehicle out there and it is purple.

Sent you a PM yesterday as a matter of fact... ;) We're headed out sometime tomorrow. Can't check in till 3 so we probably won't be in town until then.

not sure where we will be yet. I have not really seen any sc running around the coast

10-04-2007, 06:25 PM
Yeah I havnt seen but a handful in the past few years. One was a guy I worked with and there was a 94-95 dark blue one running around Mobile at one point. Oh well Ill prob never own one. I want a low mile still stock 94-95 5speed. Kind of a hard thing to find now.

I have a 91 5 speed low miles fully loaded it needs paint are you interested in it? and have a lot of spare parts. the SC runs good. it is red with the black leather interior
