Car had front impact with tree. Title is clear. Not bad enough to damage fenders, but bad enough to need frame rails replaced. Also needs; hood, bumper, impact bar, shroud, condenser( for air). Junk yard in Chebance, il,($ 240), has parts from sc. Car can be driven. Power steering is out. I just hate to see a good engine and drive line go to the crusher. Seats are not great and some clear coat is gone. lfbreen@gmail.com. 815 671 0111. Braidwood, Illinois. I-55 and Rte.113 is closest crossroad.Pick up only. Wouldn't drive more than 5 or 10 miles. Looking for best offer.

Only 75 miles from my place...... When is it available to load up? Is the number above your number or the yards number?

No one wants to pay more than 300. How hard is it to replace frame rails? I am thinking about replacing them myself. LB

I would like to offer more but there is a lot of damage to the car. The frame problems will cost way too much to try to repair and its not going to be perfect as its hard to predict how the car will even drive after its all said and done. Then all the parts and paint. I was going to rebuid the drive train and stick in one of my old birds. How many miles are on the engine, trans and rear end? If you want to make the most money you can part it but this will take a lot of work and a long time to sell it all off. You could find one with a blown motor but even after you do all that work look at the prices there getting for these and see if its worth all that work. I feel your pain but this is why insurance companies total these with what looks like minor damage.

I would buy the car for a parts source, but I have my hands full at the moment. You can find running cars complete for less than 1800 around here. I wouldn't put the work into the car if it was mine.

Try to find someone to part it out, or part it out yourself.

To answer previous question. Car is one owner since a year old. Engine and driveline are, I believe all original. I am greatful for responses. These cars can be had reasonably. Thanks lbreen
