Waterpump

Does anyone know of a high flow aftermarket waterpump for our application?

I do not know of a belt driven high flow after market waterpump.

Maybe you could overdrive your water pump with a different size
pulley.

I have a electric water pump that I bought, Then I machined
a back plate to fit my timing cover and higher volume electric
waterpump. It tested out and worked just fine on my stock
motor. I built the electric pump to use on a built 3.8 SC motor
if I ever get it finished.

Randy,

By a backplate can I assume that you are referring to a spacer to allow for a larger impeller?

Remove stock belt driven waterpump

A aluminum back plate is machined to bolt to the front of motor.
Then a aftermarket electric waterpump is bolted to the back plate.
With this setup I have a 37gph pump.Its a Moroso electric pump.

You can also use a electric pump for 4.6 ford motor Meziere electric
pump with pulley for powersteering and alternator belt to ride on.
If you machine the back plate to bolt pump to.55gph
With this set up you can keep the stock routing of the acc belt.
for AC,aternator,power steering,etc.

I also have a back plate machined. and the a remote electric water
pump mounted on the fender with water lines going to plate. Its a
55gph electric pump. It is a Meziere electric pump.

You may find some pictures of different electric pump setups,
If you do a search on the non-tech forums.
